Mar 15, 2019 · Good afternoon, This morning my 2013 A4's MIL turned on and it showed "Child-proof lock: System Fault!" in the driver's display. After about 1/2 minute the car shut off as if gasoline supply was cut off. I checked the fuel cap and started the car again and almost immediately it shut off.

Dec 18, 2021 · Audi A6 C6 no ignition / crank. Hi all. My audi will not react when turning ignition on , and seems to have a faulty J518 module at steering column. I had the old module cloned , and mounted but it did nothing. Cloned module would not lock the car at all , and i wonder if it was cloned correctly.
Dec 20, 2019 · Let me see is this right, If you indeed tore the wheel down to investigate with meter/scope, even LED test light & configured to see triggers or ran a simulation reading & from other side or rear with test overlay & even if backward in blocks you could see if it was the sensor, wiring or the hub now huh & or merely using VCDS blocks to cross check it, "right"?

Dec 9, 2018 · Otto. I have a 2009 Audi A4 (B8) 2.0. Assistance needed, the front driver's door does not unlock all of the time with the remote key fob. When it does happen - I use a regular key and unlock the door. This happened 2 days ago for the first time ever. The (drivers side) door lock operates just fine from the inside as far as locking and unlocking.

No light needed for a sticky fuel door solenoid. 1.) gas door does not open you go to a dealer to get it fixed (this is how you know it is broken) 2.) dealer scans car and says, hey we need to replace your fuel door lock.
Mar 18, 2016 · Dealer wanted $450 for labor to replace. My mechanic charged me $185. I hope this helps. All those parts don't have to come out to replace the lock actuator, it just makes it easier to get it out. I was able to replace the one on the front passenger side without removing anything but the door panel.
